SAB Learnerships is to provide applicants with an opportunity to enrol for a National Certificate in Food and Beverage Packaging, NQF 3. Learners will enter into a one-year, fixed term contract with Newlands Brewery, during which time they will undergo both on-the-job and off-the-job learning.

Applicants must have a proven qualification from accredited South African Institution of Higher Learning (NQF)
The qualification of the applicant must be accredited by South African Qualification Authority and the quality of the qualification assured by FoodBev SETA
The qualification of the applicant must reflect value adding skills required in the working environment.
What is Learnership?
Learnership is programme in assist students who recently completed their qualification and now need work experience in order to pursuit the career in becoming professionals in the industry they have qualified.
Learnership programme does not only assist recently graduated students however student who are doing their last year of study can enroll to a learnership programme normally for a period of twelve months.
Applicants who are interested in applying for learnerships can visit official websites of the companies or organisations or institution and/or government sector that is in the industry of the studies they have completed or doing their last year of studies.
Learnerships offered by companies can also be advertised in local and national newspapers. Companies also use social platforms to advertise learnerships they have available.
