Municipality bursaries – Municipality is an urban division or administrative having to pose as corporate and has powers to self-government or jurisdiction as granted by national government laws to which it is subordinate. It is to be renowned from the country, which may encompass rural region or numerous small communities such as towns and villages.
Municipality Bursaries Available
The office of the executive mayor normally invites candidates yearly to apply for the bursary for the next academic year. Municipality bursary application forms are now available for the academic year 2019.
Municipality Bursaries Requirement
Consideration will be given to the following applicants:
Staying within in the region of the municipality
Completed successfully their Grade 12
Have been accepted at an institution of higher learning recognized in South Africa
People with disability are welcome to apply as long as they meet the same criteria mentioned above.
Note: Preference is given to applicants who have obtained highest proven academic records. Preference is give to applicant who are residents where the municipality bursary is offered.
The municipality bursary is not limited to one qualification. Municipalities have a number of different professions available. The Mayors office in your municipality is open to walk in applicant and are there to assist. Most municipalities have social media pages, like Facebook, Instagram and etc. use these social media platforms to get more information on how to apply and closing dates.
In South Africa bursaries are not only available from the Mayors office however also available from the Premiers office. Applicants are welcome to apply and requirement at time are the same depending on your region and their needs at the time.
