National Diploma or Degree in the following:
Engineering related qualifications
Emergency Medical Care
Engineering qualification focusing on energy and water.
KwaZulu Natal Government Bursaries Requirements
Applicants must be residents in KwaZulu Natal Province
Applicants must be youth between the ages of 18 and 35 years
Applicants must have completed their Grade 12 successfully
Applicants must have been accepted to isntitution of higher learning for their next academic year of study
Applicants mus be planning to study in the field of studies indicated on the adverts
Students who are currently studying in the fields indicated on the adverts are welcome to apply
Applicants are obligated to work for the provincial department of KwaZulu Natal the same period the bursary was awarded.
If you have not been within 4 months of the closing date, please accept that your application was unsuccessful.
Applicants who are enrolled or accepted to further their studies at institutions of higher learning in KwaZulu Natal Province will be preference

Bursary application form (download here; this is also obtainable at the Operation Sukuma Sakhe war room, Department of Education District Offices and Student Funding Office at Institutions of learning, Provincial Government Facebook)
Certified copies of Identity document (ID) including your parents’ ID and / or guardians’ ID
Certified copy of Matric certificate or current statement of results if already studying
Proof of income of either parents or guardians (payslip, pension receipt or bank statement)
Proof of registration/acceptance letter from institution of higher learning
Proof of unemployment from Department of Labour for both parents if they are unemployed.
It is recommended that those who have profiling certificates submit a certified copy
