Sasol bursaries offer all-inclusive package regarded in South Africa for being highly competitive. Sasol bursary scheme attracts exceptional young talent to the organisation. Bursaries are offered for full-time university studies in engineering, science and commerce fields of study.

Sasol Bursaries Application Criteria

Learners who are currently in high school must meet the following minimum academic requirements.

Grade 11 academic results
English First Language – Level 5
English Second Language – Level 5

Learners interesting in studying the fields of engineering or science.

Grade 11 academic results
Mathematics – Level 7
Physical Science – Level 6

Learners interested in studying Bcom degree

Grade 11 academic results
Mathematics – lever 5

Learners interested in studying Bcom Accounting

Grade 11 academic results
Mathematics – Level 6
Accounting – Level 5

Note: All individuals writing matric before 2007 must meet the following criteria:

English First Language Higher Grade – D symbol
English Second Language Higher Grade – C symbol
Mathematics Higher Grade – A symbol
Physical Science Higher Grade – B symbol

Note the above is applicable for applicants who are interested in furthering their studies in the fields of engineering and science.

Applicants interested in studies Bcom Accounting

Accounting Higher Grade – C

Applicants who are already studying at an accredited South African university must meet the following:

Pass all courses completed in the applicant period of studies.
Must be studying full-time

Note: No bursaries are awarded for studies at a university of technology or college.

Sasol Bursaries Conditions

All applicants who are interested in this bursary must applying for full-time studies towards their degree at an accredited South African institutions of higher learning (university)
All applicants must be South African citizens with a proven ID number
Applicants selected for an interview must be ready to write a psychometric test.
