Co-ordinates and controls the Department’s administrative functionality and attends to the implementation of administrative procedures and processes and attends to specific support activities as encompassed in the Unit’s business plan.
Key Responsibility Areas:
•Co-ordinates and aligns functional requriements against the service delivery and support objectives.
•Manages, develops and monitors the key performance areas, critical outputs and conduct of personnel.
•Co-ordinates capital and operating estimates and monitors expenditure against the approved budget allocation for the Department.
•Controls end user computing and database project and maintenance requirements and, administers and facilitates the Access Control and system and CCTV camera report analysis.
•Controls the compilation and verification of information detailed in Vacancy and Appointment Circulars or publications.
•Manages the implementation of procedures and systems associated with controlling document flow and, quality systems/statutory and audit requirements regulating record keeping.
•Attends to administrative applications associated with the usage of Council Fleet.
•Co-ordinates specific administrative and activity related reporting requirements.
•Undertakes special assignments and research required by the Deputy Head: Human Resources.
Relevant 3 year tertiary qualification, i.e. National Diploma or Degree.
Valid motor vehicle drivers license.
3 Years relevant experience.
4 Years relevant experience.
