NYDA Bursary – UWC schools, colleges and programmes deliver a challenging and transformative education experience to a diverse cross section of students, inspiring them to create a more peaceful and sustainable future.
UWC has 15 schools and colleges in 15 different countries across 5 continents, all with distinctive characters but sharing the same mission, ethos and values. All information provided to the South African National Committee remains private and confidential and shall not be divulged to third parties, absent an agreement with applicants and parents.
UWC students complete a two-year International Baccalaureate Diploma (equivalent to Matric level, but internationally respected) progamme. High school learners therefore complete their schooling at a United World College. An application is made to UWC and not to a particular school or college.
Applications close 4 March 2016. Final placement decisions take into account availability of places, a candidate’s expressed preferences, the selections committee’s assessments and nomination approvals from school heads.
Top universities globally offer hundreds of scholarships to UWC graduates every year.A UWC education reaches far beyond a student’s time at a UWC college, and our alumni share a lifelong commitment to our values and to one other.
