Absa seeks to increase a pool of critical skills and individuals who are properly trained and qualified within the financial sector in South Africa.

Absa Bursaries: Application Requirements
In order to qualify for Absa bursary, below is a criteria that has been set by the bank:
Absa bursary applicants must be enrolled at any university in South Africa that is recognized by the Department of Higher Education (DHET)
You much achieve a pass mark with 70% for the first semester
You must not have any record of crime
Matriculants Qualifying Criteria
- Achieve 80% pass mark in June examination
- Applicants must be prepared to study full time the year after completing matric at an accredited
- South African University to achieve their choice of study degree.

- Hold a valid ID Book
- If you are already accepted at the university, you must attach proof with the documentation
